They obviously thought I wasn’t going to play in their first team which is fair enough.”But I went back 11 years later and we got a guard of honour going on to the pitch because we were Premier League winners.”To go back to the club that said: ‘You’re not going to play in our first team,’ and them have to make a guard of honour for us to walk down as Premier League champions, that’s one of my favourite games as well.”King’s ultimate favourite, perhaps unsurprisingly, is the 3 1 win over Everton a week earlier, when the midfielder netted before City lifted the Premier League trophy.He also selected his first Champions League appearance.
